What to Expect

On the initial visit, plan 90-120 minutes to allow for a full medical intake, including health history and current condition of concern, as well as treatment. Follow-up visits range from 30-60 minutes, depending on treatment protocol. The length of follow-up treatments will be discussed in advance for ease of planning. Please print and fill out all paperwork prior to arrival. If this is not possible, please arrive 30 minutes early to complete intake forms.
 
On each visit, please wear comfortable, loose clothing (pants and sleeves will be rolled to knees and elbows); otherwise, “loaner” pajamas and robes will be provided. Please eat a light meal prior to each appointment and refrain from caffeine two hours prior. Depending on the diagnosis, treatment will include acupuncture, and may include adjunct therapies, as recommended (see Services page for more information). After each visit, rigorous exercise, caffeine, and alcohol are to be avoided for at least four hours in order to avoid countering the effects of treatment.
 
Cell phones are not allowed on the treatment table and cell phones are to be silenced for the duration of the treatment, including intake.
 
 
 
Cancellation Policy: 24 hours advanced notice must be provided for each cancellation; otherwise, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged (extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis). A credit card is to be provided and kept safely on file with the initial appointment.

Yoga private sessions: $75 / hour individual ($90 / hour for two)

Chinese herbal formula prices vary between $0.50 - $5.00 per day and are usually prescribed in 7-14 day increments. Naturopathic remedies, supplements, and flower essence prices also vary.
